چکیده
Molecular Doping In article number 2302048, Keehoon Kang, Takhee Lee, and co-workers demonstrate a novel immersion doping strategy for enhancing the electrical conductivity of 2D perovskites. Immersion perovskite films in dopant solution induces bulk incorporation molecular dopants within organic spacer layer, which specific conditions maximizing are formulated.

Charge-transfer crystallites as molecular electrical dopants
Ground-state integer charge transfer is commonly regarded as the basic mechanism of molecular electrical doping in both, conjugated polymers and oligomers. Here, we demonstrate that fundamentally different processes can occur in the two types of organic semiconductors instead. Using complementary experimental techniques supported by theory, we contrast a polythiophene, where molecular p-doping ...

Despite the highly porous nature with significantly large surface area, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) can be hardly used in electronic and optoelectronic devices due to their extremely poor electrical conductivity. Therefore, the study of MOF thin films that require electron transport or conductivity in combination with the everlasting porosity is highly desirable. In the present work, thin f...

Influence of ionizing dopants on charge transport in organic semiconductors.
Ionizing chemical dopants are widely used in organic semiconductors to enhance the charge transport properties by increasing the number of mobile charge carriers. However, together with mobile charges, chemical doping produces anion-cation pairs in the organic matrix. In this work we use experimental and computational analysis to study the influence of these ionic species on the charge transpor...
متن کاملOrganic Charge Transfer Systems: the Next Step in Molecular Electronics?
Since the 1950s a lot of effort has been devoted into the development of organic conductors. By a substantial degree this has been inspired by W. A. Little’s theoretical analysis of London’s idea that superconductivity might occur in organic macromolecules or polymers [1]. Over time this has resulted in the discovery of several organic metals and superconductors, albeit not with spectacularly h...
